After Your Move |

| Check with the post office for any mail they are holding for you. | |
| Change your drivers license address or get a new one if necessary. | |
| Register your car in your new area, if required. | |
| Register your children in school. | |
| If you have small children, plan to accompany them to school the first few days and arrange to meet their teacher(s). | |
| Contact the Chamber of Commerce or Visitors Bureau in your new town and request information on parks and recreation, community calendars, maps of the area, etc. | |
| Record emergency phone numbers such as fire/police, ambulance, nearest hospital. | |
| Arrange appointments with doctor(s), dentist and veterinarian – before you, your family and your pets need them. | |
| Register to vote. | |
